The Day Bag is a simple shape that can be interpreted in an endless range of styles. You can alter the fabrics, straps and embellishments* to make an endless range of shoulder bags, handbags and messenger bags.
With this pattern, you’ll learn to make a magnetic snap or zipper closure. The pattern also offers the option of a 2-way snap closure, which folds in the sides of the bag to give a “Gladstone Bag” look. You’ll enjoy learning lots of tricks and tips for a professional finish for all of your handmade bags.

♥ 25cm medium weight iron-on interfacing
♥ 40cm lining fabric
♥ 14mm magnetic catch/p>

♥ 70cm fusible wadding (to add more body to the fabric)
♥ 15cm (6”) zip for lining pocket
♥ D-rings, slide adjusters, etc for straps
