Gertie was designed as a heat bag as she is curved to wrap around your neck and shoulders. This quick, simple pattern is easier to turn in fleece or stretchy fabrics. Great beginners project.

Size: 43cm / 17inches

Suitable Fabric: It is easier to turn the pieces if you use knit (stretchy) fabrics like fleece, Cuddle, velour, chenille, minky etc. You can also use woven (non-stretchy) fabrics like quilting cottons and corduroy. The googly eyes will be easier with stretchy fabrics!

Pattern Requirements:
♥ Blue fleece material – 48cmx43cm / 19x17inch.
♥ Yellow fleece material – 48cmx43cm / 19x17inch.
♥ White fleece material- 6cmx11cm / 2½inchx4½inch.
♥ 3 mm black beads for eyes/ black embroidery thread.
♥ Whole wheat – about 4 cups (or toy stuffing)
♥ Buttons (*used ONLY for a toy, NOT a heat pack!)
