Suitable Fabric: woven (eg. patchwork and quilting cottons and corduroy)

Pattern Requirements:

♥ Main fabric (solid pink homespun) – 50 x110cm wide (20 x 43.5inches wide)
♥ Muzzle fabric (solid dark pink homespun) – 20 x30cm wide (8 x 12inches wide)
♥ Patterned fabric (for ears and head band) – 15 x108cm wide (6 x 42.5inches wide)
♥ Patterned fabric (for covering dowel) – 25 x110cm wide (10 x 43.5inches wide)
♥ Batting (for ears) – 18cm x 30cm wide (7 x 12 inches wide)
♥ Felt scraps for eyes and eyebrows – pink, dark pink, green and dark green
♥ Craft eyes – 22mm(7/8inch) OR Black Felt 4cm (1.5inch) square (for eyes)
♥ Wooden dowel rod – 1m (40 inch) long and 3cm (just over 1 inch) in diameter
♥ Use of an electric drill (or someone to drill holes in the dowel for you)
♥ Heavy duty/upholstery thread (for attaching fabric to dowel)
♥ Yarn for mane – 1 ball (1 ball of yarn 50g/50m/54yd is enough for 1 hobby horse)
♥ Ribbon 22mm(7/8inch) wide for Bridle – 1.35m (53inches) in length
♥ Cord for reins – 1m (40 inches) long
♥ Door-stop, castor or wheels (with nut, bolt and washers) for end of dowel
