The Laney-Jane Bag is a vintage inspired structured bag, designed with a beginner to advanced bag maker in mind. The interesting construction methods, hanging zipper pocket divider, and turning method are implemented to help make a heavily stabilised bag without the need of specialised machines and handcrafting techniques. This allows us to create a quick and easy stabilised bag using a domestic machine and the supplies most of us already have!
Although instructions are geared towards both heavier fabric and quilting cottons, only advanced level bag makers with heavy duty domestic machines should use faux leather or vinyl in their bag. Bag makers that are new to sewing should start with a quilting cotton version.
